Last year, I stumbled into dry January by accident, needing to take some time off from alcohol for health reasons – and what I found was a wonderful array of zero-proof and non-alcoholic drinks. There were so many more options than I had ever imagined!
Whether you’re looking for something to replace your wine ritual, a healthier sipping option, or an alcohol alternative that still gives you a buzz, I’ve tried and tested my fair share of everything on the market. Below you’ll find reviews of everything that’s come across my desk and what to expect before making your purchase.

Best Non-Alcoholic Drinks: My Top Recommendations
Three Spirits
Three Spirits has been a favorite of mine since I first stumbled across them at a dry bar in Brooklyn. I love that they’re an adaptogen drink that provides a delicious alcohol alternative. In fact, they’re one of the best alcohol alternatives that give you a “buzz” in their own sort of way.
You can read my full review of Three Spirits here, but top-level, it’s worth noting that my favorite is the Three Spirits Nightcap. I love that it can replace my ritual evening glass of wine and I’m obsessed with its earthy, dreamy flavor profile. Lovers of complex red wines, such as Pinot Noir and Cabernet will love it! I sip it straight or mixed with a dash of ginger beer, ginger ale, or tonic water. So yummy!
ALLAY
If you’re looking for a true red wine alternative, ALLAY is probably my favorite. It even comes from a specific AVA in Washington (Wahluke Slope).

I love supporting women in wine, and behind Oceano Zero is the fantastic Rachel Martin! She just launched her new line, Oceano Zero, this year (a spinoff of her primary wine line, Oceano).
The Pinot Noir zero-proof wine is a real treat. It’s smooth, light and easy drinking, but also with a range of depth in flavor including notes of red fruit, subtle earthiness, and a hint of spice. All of the pleasure in taste, and none of the pain of a fuzzy head in the morning!
Parch
If you’re a tequila or margarita lover, Parch is the best non-alcoholic drink for you! These refreshingly complex, non-alcoholic agave cocktails are infused with desert botanicals and adaptogens.
They offer two flavors: the Prickly Paloma, a citrus and bittersweet cocktail with grapefruit & orange bitters, or the Spiced Pinarita, a smoked and spicy combination of lush pineapple, blue agave, and juicy prickly pear cactus fruit. Both are delicious!

Steinbock Non-Alcoholic Wine
Steinbock Alcohol Free Sparkling is an elegant choice for when you’re skipping the alcohol but don’t want to sacrifice sparkling pleasure.
