From their newly renovated tasting room, you’ll find gorgeous views extending for miles. It’s a bucolic escape from the hustle-and-bustle of everyday life, a romantic getaway, or just a beautiful place to breathe and recenter yourself… all while sipping on delicious wine.
Gary Farrell offers a range of winery experiences, designed to showcase their wines and educate you on their wine-making philosophy. Their tasting room is by appointment only and is well worth the reservation. You can view their full list of offerings here.
During our visit, we decided on the Inspiration Tasting— their most focused Pinot Noir experience. Guided by one of their amazing Estate Sommeliers at a private table, we tasted through a flight of six highly allocated Pinot Noirs and learned about the farmers, soil compositions, and winemaking that goes into producing their range of elegant and diverse Pinots. All wines were paired with a selection of local artisan cheese embellished with flavorful additions (my favorite was the Mt Tam cheese from Cowgirl Creamy topped with truffle powder and honey, paired with their Hallberg Vineyard Pinot! O-M-G!)
I can’t recommend a visit to Gary Farrell enough, especially if you love Pinot Noir and getting off the beaten path. Make sure to say that “Wine with Paige” sent you when you plan your visit to receive something extra special!
